Tasmania Police are currently investigating a matter involving two dirt bikes that were ridden around the Launceston CBD at around 8:45pm on 19 October 2010.

The bike riders committed a number of serious traffic offences and on one occasion one of the riders was hit by a motor vehicle.

The descriptions of the bikes and riders;

1. White Dirt Bike (250cc) with male rider wearing light coloured blue jeans, white coloured hoodie and blue/white open faced helmet.
2. Blue Dirt Bike (400cc) with male rider with black track pants and wearing a back pack.

Police would like to hear from any members of the public who witnessed these riders or who have any information to offer.
