A 30-year-old Devonport man has been charged with child exploitation offences and remanded in custody to appear in the Devonport Magistrates Court this afternoon.
The man was charged with accessing, producing and distributing child exploitation images, and two counts of committing an indecent act directed at a person under the age of 17 years.
His home was searched on Friday by Tasmania Police and the Australian Federal Police after he had been identified as distributing child exploitation material online.
Further evidence was seized during the search.
