Detectives from Glenorchy CIB are investigating a burglary and stealing from a business in Derwent Park, over the past weekend.

Between 3pm on Saturday 10/1/15 and 7am on Monday 12/1/15 an enclosed yard used by a company, Roadbore Tas Pty Ltd, situated at Derwent Park Road, Derwent Park was unlawfully entered.

Specialised equipment used for identifying and clearing blockages from mains sewerage and water pipes was stolen from a truck parked in the yard. This equipment included a Visex CC underground inspection camera (Value $25,000) and a T400 root cutter (used for clearing blockages in pipes – Value $18,000).  A number of Sidchrome tools were also taken.

Parts were stolen from a number of vehicles also parked in the yard, including a steering wheel and four (4) mag wheels from a 1998 Subaru Impreza.
