Deliberately lit fires Tasman Highway Nunamara

On 16th January 2016 several fires were deliberately lit on the Tasman Highway between Scottsdale and Waverley.

Police investigating the fires wish to thank everyone who has provided information to date and encourage anyone who was travelling in this area on Saturday 16th January to contact them.

Police ask that if you saw anyone acting suspiciously or saw anything that didn’t seem quite right, to contact them on 6777 3911 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

Tasmania police urge anyone that has information relating to the persons responsible for lighting the fires to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or Launceston CIB on 6777 3911.

A reward may be offered for the successful prosecution of offenders.
