Shortly after 4am on Saturday the 13^th of February 2021, Tasmania Fire Service were alerted to a house fire at 47 Benboyd Circle, Rokeby.

Members of Tasmania Fire Service attended and extinguished the blaze; however the house was completely destroyed.

No occupants were present at the residence at the time of the fire and no persons were injured as a result of the fire.

The cause of the fire has been determined, by investigators, as deliberate and the matter is being investigated by police.
