Police can confirm the body of a deceased man was located in a dam at Ellendale last night.

Items located with the person indicate the deceased may be 81-year-old Trevor Foster. Mr Foster went missing from his Ouse property during a flood event on 6 June 2016.

A formal identification will be conducted and a report has been prepared for the Coroner.

Police have been in contact with Mr Foster’s family and our thoughts and condolences are with them.
