Shortly after midday today, Police located the body of a male youth at the base of a cliff below Mirramar Park, Kingston. The circumstances leading to the youth’s death have not yet been determined, although a report was received from a member of the public stating that a male was seen earlier this week climbing a cliff face near where the body was located.

Uniform Police, Detectives, Marine Police and Forensic Services attended the area, in order to conduct a detailed examination of the scene. Although the death does not appear suspicious, enquiries will be conducted to prepare an investigation file for the Coroner. The identity of the youth has been identified, but the name has been withheld pending notification to relatives.
