At approximately 10.00am on 17 December 2012 police were notified that the body of a deceased male had been located in the sand dunes adjacent to Wentworth Park at Salacia Avenue, Howrah. 

As a result of the police investigation and post mortem the deceased’s identity has been confirmed.

The deceased was a local by the name of Tony John RASHLEIGH, aged 58.

His death is not considered suspicious.  A Coronial Inquest will be held in due course.

Mr Rashleigh’s family has been advised.
