Police from the Western Accident Investigation Section have today arrested and charged a 28 year old Somerset woman with causing death by dangerous driving.

The arrest follows an investigation into a crash which occurred in Raglan Street, Somerset on 4 October 2010 in which Mr Neil Ernest Upston was fatally injured.

The female, whom police have not named, will also face further charges of speeding and hooning.  She was bailed in the Burnie Magistrates Court and will appear again on 7 February 2011.
