At approximately 6:30am on Sunday 24^th of January 2016, a 19 year old man from Prospect caused significant damage in the Launceston CBD.

He caused damage to Myer Launceston, damaged plants located in the Brisbane Street Mall and to a window at Subway Launceston.  Police located the man near Subway and he was subsequently arrested.

The man was charged and given direction to leave the CBD.

A short time after being released the man was again located in the Brisbane Street Mall, he was arrested, charged and detained for after hours court.
