Rosebery Police have investigated the report of a TasRail tamper and ballast regulator being damaged while passing through the town on 6 February 2014.

They have spoken to number of young people identified as being in the area of the rail tracks at the time.

As a result it was identified that a 14 year old Rosebery boy threw a rock at the train, damaging a window.

The youth has been spoken to and will be dealt with in accordance with the provisions of the Youth Justice Act.
