As a result of investigations undertaken by Metro Police in relation to damage caused to a Metro Bus at Clarendon Vale yesterday a young person has been spoken to by police and will be dealt with under the Youth Justice Act.

Inspector Woolley, Officer-in-Charge of the Hobart Police stated that “Tasmania Police will not tolerate people who discharge missiles at buses. The safety of drivers and passengers travelling on buses are a high priority and anyone identified causing this type of danger will be subject to further proceedings.”
