A 20 year old King Island woman is being airlifted to the North West Regional Hospital believed to be suffering non life threatening injuries following a single vehicle crash earlier today.

The woman was the sole occupant of a dual cab utility travelling west along Reekara Road, King Island, about 10am this morning.

It appears the vehicle lost control in wet gravel on a right hand bend and rolled.

Police and emergency services attended the scene and the woman is being airlifted to the North West Regional Hospital.
