Approx. 2pm on Saturday 19/03/2016 a 61 year old female pedestrian visiting from interstate has attempted to cross Marion Bay Road, COPPING near house number 38.

The female has walked out into the centre of the road behind a vehicle travelling out of COPPING. The female has then been struck by the side of another vehicle travelling towards COPPING.

Traffic on Marion Bay Road was heavy due to the Bream Creek Show.

Ambulance and Police Services have attended the scene.

The female who suffered an injury to her leg, was conveyed to Royal Hobart Hospital for observation and treatment.
