Crash Davey Street Hobart

Three people were conveyed to the Royal Hobart Hospital as the result of a two vehicle crash on Davey Street, South Hobart about 3.30pm on Monday 28th April 2014.

At this time a blue Barina hatch was travelling south bound on Davey Street. A short distance south of the junction of Elboden Street the Barina hatch has veered to the incorrect side of the road and collided with a white Suzuki Swift which was being driven in the opposite direction.

The condition of the driver of the Barina a 34 year old male from West Moonah and his passenger a 31 year old woman from the Glebe is satisfactory. The condition of the driver and sole occupant of the Suzuki, a 42 year old man from South Hobart, is serious.

The crash disrupted traffic flow for approximately 2 and half hours whilst investigations were conducted and the scene cleared.

The investigator, Constable Sarah MORRIS would like to hear from any person who may have witnessed the crash or saw either vehicle prior to the incident.
