Tasmania Police is pleased with the outcomes of the joint exercise with the Australian Defence Force (ADF) conducted last night in Hobart.

The reason we undertake counter-terrorism exercises is to test our capability and inter-operability. These exercises enable us to provide the best possible response to protect the public and ultimately save lives in the event of a terrorism incident, a police spokesperson said.

Tasmania Police gained valuable insights from this opportunity and would like to thank the ADF for their commitment to joint training. We also thank TasPorts for their support, by providing the training venue.
