As a result of a Family Violence investigation by police, a 41 year old male, from Invermay in Launceston has been arrested and was placed before the Launceston Magistrates Court on Thursday 25 October 2012 for conspiracy to murder and stalking charges of his estranged wife.  A family violence order was in place.

The male entered a plea of not guilty to the stalking charges however has not entered a plea in respect of the Conspiracy to Murder matters. He is due to appear next Wednesday 31 October 2012 at Launceston Magistrates Court.
