Concerns raised for missing 17 year old Devonport youth

Police are concerned for the welfare of a 17 year old youth who was last sighted at his Devonport home Tuesday morning.

The family of William Sengstock indicate they are unaware of any apparent reason for his disappearance and that leaving the family home without warning is out of character for him.

Acting Sergeant Felicity Boyd of Devonport Station confirmed police are conducting enquiries into William’s movements and is calling on the public for assistance.

“There is no information to indicate William’s disappearance is nothing other than voluntary but we are concerned for his welfare and would appreciate any information from the public as to his whereabouts,” Acting Sgt Boyd said.

William is described as being of Caucasian and of slim build.  He has short dark hair and has a tribal tattoo on his left arm.

He is believed to have left the family home on foot.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or phone Devonport Police Station on 6478 4011.
