Police hold concerns for the welfare of a Smithton family who are overdue to return home from a four wheel drive / picnic trip.

Richard Jamieson, aged 53 years and his two children, a female aged 10 and a male aged 6, were last seen on Friday 11 July 2014 in Somerset. The trio were intending to travel back to Smithton, via the Takone / Dip Falls area where Mr Jamieson intended to do some four wheel driving and have a picnic with the children.

Mr Jamieson is driving a Holden Jackaroo, gold in colour, registration number D40SN.
