Tasmania Police and other Emergency Services have responded to a collision that occurred near the Rinadeena Station on the West Coast Wilderness Railway. 

The collision involved two Hi-Rail vehicles that were on the Western side of the Rinadeena Station. A male railway employee, the driver of one of the vehicles, was trapped and was extricated by Emergency Service Personnel. He is being flown to the North West Regional Hospital.

The Australian Transport Safety Bureau will be attending the scene.
