Clarendon Vale man charged after targeted police operation

A 26-year-old man from Clarendon Vale has been charged after a targeted police operation in the Clarendon Vale and Howrah area.

Around 4:30pm on Monday, police will allege the man drove a stolen Ford Ranger whilst disqualified, before evading police in the Clarendon Vale area. The man was located and arrested a short time later in Salicia Avenue, Howrah.

He has been charged with various matters, including motor vehicle stealing, stealing, evading police, disqualified driving, breach of bail and other offences.

The man was detained to in custody to appear in the Hobart Magistrates Court this evening.
