Hobart CIB Detectives have today charged a 47 year old West Hobart man with possessing images of child exploitation material.

The man will face the Hobart Magistrates Court on Wednesday 9 February 2010 in relation to possessing 2.1 million images of the material.

Investigations are continuing and it is expected that further charges will be laid before the court on his first appearance date (9/12/10).
