Due to a chemical spill at Petuna Seafoods Devonport, Wright Street, Devonport, police advise there is an exclusion zone to 250 metre radius.

This exclusion zone will remain in place until about 5pm this evening.

Residents are advised to stay within their homes and not to venture onto the street until instructed otherwise.

Police and SES are on scene and will be able to offer direction to motorists, pedestrians and residents.

Motorists and pedestrians are advised to avoid the area, until further notice.
