Charges have been laid in relation to the fire which caused significant damage to a Queenstown Service station and surrounding businesses early yesterday morning.

As the result of an investigation conducted by Burnie CIB and Queenstown Police, a 46 year old Queenstown man has this afternoon been charged with one count of arson.

He is to appear at the Burnie Magistrates Court later this afternoon.
