Launceston Detectives have today apprehended and charged a 17 year old Invermay female in regards to the incident on the 26 September 2011 in which a police vehicle was rammed at Legana.

The offender will appear at an out-of-hours court in Launceston at 8pm and has been charged with motor vehicle stealing and other crimes committed on the night in question. 

Enquiries are continuing into this matter and police are awaiting the results of a number of forensic examinations from the night of the 26 September relating to other people who may have also been involved in this incident.
