As a result of investigations Launceston Criminal Investigation Branch have charged two males with Causing Grievous Bodily Harm and Attempted Aggravated Burglary as a result of an incident at Malcombe Street Longford on Wednesday 2 November 2011.

Both males aged 18 and 20 years were detained for after hours court at 8pm on Monday 7 November 2011.

The incident occurred at about 7.25pm Wednesday 2 November 2011 when a 61 year old Longford male resident disturbed two males breaking into his house.

Police would like to thank members of the public for their assistance in relation to this matter.
