A 23 year old male from Shorewell Park appeared in an out of hours sitting of the Burnie Magistrates Court on 5 July 2011, charged with Burglary and Stealing.

This related to an incident that occurred in the early hours of 30 June 2011 where the front window of the Shorewell Park IGA supermarket was smashed and quantities of mobile telephones and cigarette products were stolen.

The man was not required to enter a plea and was remanded in custody to appear again, via video link, today Wednesday 6 July 2011 at 11.30am.
