Hobart Detectives have been investigating the alleged robbery of a woman in Melville Street, Hobart on Thursday 24 February 2011.

It was alleged that a bag and money was stolen from the woman who had a young child in a stroller with her at the time of the robbery.

As a result of those enquiries a 28 year old Bridgewater woman will be proceeded against for making a false report to police.
