Charges over assault at Bellerive

At about 8.45pm on Saturday 28th April 2012 three females have forced their way into a unit at Bellerive. 

In the unit at this time were three adults and three children.  It is alleged the three females committed a serious assault on one of the female occupants of the unit with this victim also receiving a stab wound to her back.  This stab wound was inflicted using a broken bottle.  The three offenders have then left the area in a red Mitsubishi Lancer, showing ‘P’ plates.

The victim of this assault received a laceration to her lower back which required 4 sutures, two black eyes and minor cuts and bruises to her head and body.

On Sunday 29 April 2012 detectives from the Eastern District CIB charged 2 adult females and one female youth with Criminal Code Assault, Aggravated Burglary and one of the adult females was charged with Wounding. 

One of the adults and the youth, aged 18 and 17,  were detained to appear in court on Monday 30th April 2012 while the other adult, aged 18, received police bail to appear in court at a later date.
