Northern CIB officers have charged a 23 year old Mayfield man with Aggravated Armed Robbery, in relation to an incident that occurred at the Mowbray Hotel on the 26^th of July 2011.

During the incident, two masked offenders entered the hotel and threatened staff, one armed with a knife, before making off with an amount of cash.

Investigations are continuing into this incident in relation to the second offender.

The male is due to appear in the Launceston Court of Petty Sessions at 11.30am this morning.
