On Tuesday 19^th June 2012 members of Western CIB charged a male with various offences in relation to seven business burglaries committed on the 16/06/2012.

Charges related to a motor vehicle stealing from Penguin and business burglaries committed in Penguin, Ulverstone and Elizabeth Town.

The male has been bailed and will appear in the Devonport Court of Petty Sessions at a later time.

Police would like to thank members of the public for their valuable assistance in the investigation which is ongoing.

Police would like to speak to any persons who witnessed or have any information in relation to these burglaries. Persons with information are encouraged to contact Devonport CIB or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
