The investigation has been continuing in relation to the death of a woman in Ronald Street, Devonport, in the early hours of Saturday 24 November 2012.

As a result of this investigation, and subsequent searches of residences, two men will be appearing in an out of hours court sitting at the Devonport Magistrates Court.

A 19 year old man, from Devonport, has been charged in relation to suppressing evidence as well as several minor drug and wildlife offences.

A 44 year old man, also from Devonport and a member of the Devil’s Henchmen Outlaw Motorcycle Gang, has been charged in relation to suppressing evidence, trafficking in a controlled substance and various firearm and property charges. 

Firearms were seized from an address but these are unrelated to the death.

A file is currently being prepared for the coroner and enquiries into the circumstances of the death are continuing.
