Detectives from Hobart Criminal Investigation Branch have charged two men in relation to the assault of a man in Murray Street on Sunday 24 October 2010. The victim received a fractured jaw during the assault.

Acting on information provided by the public, detectives this week spoke with two men believed to be involved.

A charge of Aggravated Robbery was laid against a 20 year old man from Sorell and a 19 year old man from Warrane. The men were bailed to appear in the Hobart Court of Petty Sessions on Monday 17 January 2010.

Police would like to thank members of the public for their assistance in this matter.
