Nubeena Police have charged a 27 year old man from Saltwater River with cultivating a controlled plant for sale.

The charges are the result of searches conducted at a Saltwater River property on 17 November 2011.

The cannabis plants seized have a potential street value of approximately $30,000.

The man was bailed to appear at a later date in the Hobart Magistrates Court.
