Call for witnesses over hooning incident – Launceston

Launceston Police is calling for public assistance to identify the driver of a hooning vehicle.

 

About 11:25pm on Saturday 3 February, a red Holden Commodore sedan, only displaying a rear registration plate, was travelling east on Cimitiere Street, Launceston.

 

The driver did a burnout at the intersection with George Street, outside the Commercial Hotel.

 

Police allege the vehicle fish tailed, crossed to the wrong side of the road and collided with a parked vehicle.  At the time of the incident a male driver was the sole occupant in the vehicle.
