It was a busy night for Police Search and Rescue teams with two technical rescues.

Injured Woman rescued from Mystery Creek Cave
Just after midnight last night Police Search and Rescue Officers rescued a woman with a broken femur from Mystery Creek Cave.
Around 1:30pm yesterday Police responded to a report that a woman in her 40s had fallen a distance of around 8 metres while caving. The call for assistance was from her caving companion.
The woman had travelled around 100 metres into the cave when she fell.
Two Westpac Rescue Helicopters were deployed to the scene with Ambulance Tasmania members and Search and Rescue police who extracted the woman from the cave just after midnight.
Police would like to thank local SES volunteers and members of Southern Tasmanian Caverneers for their valuable assistance in difficult conditions.
The woman was carried a considerable distance on a stretcher to the waiting helicopter and conveyed to the Cenotaph at around 2am for transport to the Royal Hobart Hospital.

Two men rescued from boat stranded on Black Jack Rocks
Marine police last night rescued two men from a boat stranded on Black Jack Rock.
Around 6:45pm police responded to a report of a 27-foot bayliner boat stranded on Black Jack Rock which had misjudged the approach to the Iron Pot on a journey from the East-Coast to Hobart.
The stranded men were transferred to Police Vessel Resolute and conveyed to a waiting ambulance at the South Arm Jetty.
The 48-year-old man and 73-year-old man both suffered hypothermia.
