Burnie Ten Road Closure Advice
The Burnie Ten is running this weekend. Road Closure times are as follows:

| Wilson Street; between Ladbrooke Street and Bass Highway | 10am – 2pm |
| Ladbrooke Street; between Marine Terrace and Mount Street | 10am – 2pm |
| Wilson Street; between Wilmot Street and Cattley Street (Start / Finish area) | 7am- 4pm |
| Bass Highway; the right hand lane of the east bound dual carriageway and right hand lane of the west bound dual carriageway to be closed between Wilson Street intersection and approximately 100 metres east of last business premises at Round Hill | 1045am – 2pm |
For those wishing to travel out of Burnie towards Ulverstone, the following detour will be established:
- From 10:55am eastbound traffic on the Bass Highway will be prevented from proceeding past the Mount Street intersection.
- Such traffic will be directed north or south on Mount Street, or will be able to return west on Bass Highway.
- Traffic wishing to continue their journey to the east will be directed to a marked detour which will direct them to travel south on Mount Street – follow Mount street until they arrive at the T Junction of Mount Street and Old Surrey Road;
- turn East on Old Surrey Road; Follow Old Surrey Road all the way to Bass Highway;
- turn west on the Bass Highway to the port and rail exit adjacent to Oakleigh Park (just past Harvey Norman);
- Follow the exit under the Bass Highway and re-join the eastern flow on Bass Highway via Bollard Drive and Edwardes Street.
This alternate route will be indicated by yellow coloured signs which will be deployed by the Burnie Ten Committee prior to 1045am.
