Glenorchy CIB are investigating a burglary that occurred at the community based organisation ‘Nexus’ sometime overnight on the 6 December 2012.  The Nexus building is located in Gormanston Road, Glenorchy. 

Offenders have entered through the rear of the building, causing an amount of damage before stealing a number of items including cash.  It is believed that the offenders would have spent a considerable amount of time at the business and utilised a council rubbish bin to transport the stolen items.  More than one person was involved in the burglary and a vehicle was utilised to later transport stolen items.    

Police believe that the circumstances surrounding the burglary are such, that someone would be aware of persons responsible or have information relating to the burglary.  Glenorchy CIB urge any persons with information relating to the burglary to contact Glenorchy CIB or information can be provided anonymously by contacting Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
