Detectives from Hobart CIB are investigating an incident of Burglary and Stealing from the Hobart Music Centre on Elizabeth Street.

At approximately 11:30pm on Thursday 6th March, 3 Ibanez electric guitars were stolen from the Hobart Music Centre situated on Elizabeth Street, Hobart. Entry was gained after the front shop window was smashed by the offenders.

Police are appealing for witnesses who may have seen the burglary being committed or three men leaving the area with the instruments. It is believed the men fled on foot along Bathurst Street carrying the guitars.

Police also believe the people depicted in the security footage from a nearby restaurant in Argyle Street, Hobart can assist with the investigation.

Detectives are interested in speaking with anyone who may know the identity of the men depicted.
