On the 21st March 2012, Detectives from Eastern Criminal Investigation Branch arrested a 26 year old man from Pontville for Burglary and Stealing.

He was charged with 10 counts of burglary and 7 counts of stealing in relation to business burglaries at Hobart, Glenorchy, New Norfolk and Sorell.

The arrest was as a result of an ongoing investigation by members of Eastern Criminal Investigation Branch into a current spate of business burglaries in the greater Hobart area.

He was charged and bailed to appear at a later date.
