At about 12.30pm on Tuesday the 2nd November 2010 police were notified that there was a body laying face down in the Trevallyn Dam.

Police attended and the body of a male person was located face down in the water. The deceased was located against the bank about 1 km from the boat ramp.

The body, which appears to have been in the water for several weeks, was recovered and it appears as though there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.

Police investigations are continuing in order to identify the body. A post mortem examination will be conducted tomorrow.
