Police advise the body of a man has been found on the shore of the northern end of Actaeon Island, off Southport. 

The body was located by the Police Westpac Rescue Helicopter about 11:40. The deceased was winched aboard the helicopter and will be returned to Hobart. 

The fisherman had been setting pots in a dinghy when he fell overboard about 10am this morning. The dinghy was launched from a larger fishing vessel. The man's family have been notified. 

The PV Van Dieman has been deployed to recover the dinghy.
