The body located in bushland near Mayfield on Friday has been formally identified as 19 year old Billy Ray Waters.

“Our thoughts and condolences are with Billy’s family and loved ones at this difficult time,” Detective Acting Inspector Fox said.

Billy was last seen alive on Sunday 4 August and his disappearance was reported to police on Sunday 11 August.
