Boat and vehicle stolen

Between 11pm on Monday 14 November 2011 and 6am on Tuesday 15 November 2011 offenders have gone to an address in Burnie where they have found a white Ford Courier utility hooked up to a boat trailer, containing a 4.8 metre boat.  The offenders have driven the vehicle, with the boat and trailer hooked up, out of the driveway and left the area.

The Ford Courier is a dual cab with a fibreglass canopy.  The boat trailer is a “Brooker 15”.  The boat is a “Savage Tasman” and it is white with a green half cabin.  There is a dark brown fish painted on each side of the boat and the name “Cindy-Ann” is painted inside the fish.  The boat has a 70hp Johnson outboard motor and an 8hp Johnson outboard motor.

The boat and vehicle contained fishing and camping gear.

Police are interested to hear from members of the public who may have seen the vehicle and boat/trailer or may have any information regarding their theft.  Information can be given to Burnie CIB on 64 345291 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 and callers may remain anonymous.
