Tasmania Police is searching for two men involved in dangerous driving incidents between Devonport and the Evandale area this afternoon.

One man in his 40s from Launceston is in custody, after a crash in a stolen vehicle on the Bass Highway about 2pm.

Two men left the scene of the crash and stole a white Nissan Navara. They drove in a dangerous manner to Perth, where they crashed into a fence in Collins Street. The pair left that scene after stealing a third vehicle.

It’s believed the men are now travelling on foot in the St Leonards/Relbia area.

Tasmania Police have asked that people in the area ensure their vehicles are locked.
