Members of Tasmania Police remain on Badger Island today continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding how Mr Donald Marshall’s yacht

Aspro 11 ran aground in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

The police vessel Van Diemen, members of the police dive squad and the Westpac Recue Helicopter continue with duties surrounding gathering evidence for the Coroner and retrieving personal effects for family members.

Family members visited Badger Island yesterday and viewed the location where Aspro 11 struck rocks. 

Tasmania Police duties on Badger Island are expected to conclude today. 

 A full report will be completed for the Coroner.
