Attempted robbery, Invermay

At about 11am Wednesday 19 October 2011 an attempted robbery was committed at Clyde Street Invermay.

The incident involved a male attempting to grab the handbag of a female who was walking east on Clyde Street Invermay (near Pellows Saws and Mowers).  The female had previously been walking north on Invermay Road after shopping at the Invermay Road IGA supermarket. 

The offender is believed to have run through the rear yard of Pellows Saws and Mowers and then east on Clyde Street. 

Description of male offender: fair skin, slim build, mid to late teens, wearing black jeans, and a black hooded top.
