Attempted explosion of ATM – Ravenswood

At approximately 3.40am on Friday 10 February 2017 police were on patrol in the Ravenswood area when they detected an attempt to cause an explosion to the Commonwealth Bank Automated Teller Machine (ATM) at the IGA at Ravenswood.

 

Police have arrested a 42 year old man in connection with this matter. The man remains in police custody at this time as further investigations are carried out.

 

The attempt was not successful and no one was injured.
