Police last night charged a 36-year-old man with the attempted armed robbery of the Bendigo Bank in Reibey Street, Ulverstone on September 13. The man has been detained in custody and will be appearing in the Devonport Magistrates Court today at 11.15am.

Police are still requesting that anyone with information in relation to the incident to contact Devonport Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
