At 10:28pm on Wednesday 7^th March, 2018, a male youth entered the Caltex Service Station on Main Road, Moonah armed with scissors.

The youth approached the counter and demanded cash from the console operator which was refused.  The youth then fled on foot.

The youth was apprehended nearby.  The 13 year old male youth was formally charged with attempted armed robbery and detained for Court on 8/3/2018.

The console operator was not physically harmed during the incident.
